Showreel - A Story without Words
It's true. Civilisations need stories to carry on through the generations. Legends and myths from centuries ago still circulate today and modern day stories will take us into the future. Story telling is almost as old as time itself and is a gift to the present and the future.
We learn things by reading or hearing stories. We can teach through story telling and writing. Stories help make the world go around. Stories entertain us.
Writing is just one form of story telling. Movement and dance is another and it is this that I decided to showcase today; my daughter's professional dance story. She uses no words; just movement and music. This showreel includes snippets of some of the theatre, shows and dances she has been involved in so far in her fledgling career.
Her story is one of energy and passion...a journey from small beginnings and a hope of where it might lead...enjoy.
